About Me
My name is Lesli and I am a Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer and Health & Wellness coach. I have a Bachelor of Arts – Psychology degree and Food & Nutrition Management Diploma. My passion is to help people strive towards achieving their optimal level of fitness, health and wellness.
As someone who has experienced the struggles of hearing loss for over 20 years, I’m attuned to some of the challenges that the Hard of Hearing and Deaf community face. With the increasing rise of chronic conditions throughout the population, fitness, health and wellness should be a priority in life, and should be accessible to everyone. |
Balanced Dimensions strives to offer classes and coaching to a variety of fitness levels, and we aim to be inclusive for individuals with different identities, backgrounds and lived experiences.
My Fitness & Wellness Journey
I have been involved in the fitness industry for over 25 years. I have been group fitness certified since 1996, and have led a diverse assortment of classes over the years including: POUND®, Les Mills BODYPUMP™, STRONG Nation™, Les Mills BodyCombat, Cardio Kickboxing, Step and Bootcamp, to name a few.
While working at and eventually managing a weight loss clinic from 2003-2004, it was the fulfillment of helping individuals achieve their weight loss goals that led me to pursue my personal trainer certification. Over the years I have trained a variety of ages and fitness levels. Most recently, I acquired my ISSA Glute Specialist Certification, Level 1 Certification with Precision Nutrition and Heart-Wise Certification. |
I became Yoga 200 hour certified in 2011 and have developed a strong interest in meditation. I have completed a number of workshops and certifications over the years including Eating Healthy, Aging population and Fitness, as well as Stress Resiliency. I completed the ACE Health Coach program and graduated in May 2021.
